TEAI is a privately held Houston-based energy company founded in 1981 by JP Bryan. TEAI has a long history of owning, operating, and maximizing value from large oil and gas projects and developing companies which target under-served aspects of the energy business. Through its history TEAI has listed 7 companies publicly, has been a pioneer with MLP and royalty trust concepts in the US and Canada, and has been directly responsible for the investment and management of over $3 billion in energy assets.
Team
Anish Parikh – Vice President
Prior to Onsemble, Anish Parikh acquired land for greenfield wind projects in Southern California for Airtricity / E.On Climate & Renewables. Mr. Parikh had previously worked as Director of Business Development for Appa Renewable Energy Systems, commercializing a new wind turbine rotor technology. He also worked in The Boeing Company's "Phantom Works", on the X-51 project. Mr. Parikh received a Bachelor's of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from M.I.T., and an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from University of Michigan, where he focused on CFD & turbulence modeling, and researched embedded active materials as a means for reducing rotor blade vibrations.
Dan Rowlands – Director of Technology
Dan Rowlands is responsible for technology development at Onsemble, including statistical models for observation siting, and the Onsemble Indices. Mr. Rowlands holds a first class master's degree in Physics from the University of Oxford where he is currently finishing a PhD in probabilistic climate forecasting. Previously he has worked on weather derivatives and catastrophe modeling at Risk Management Solutions, equities trading and research at UBS investment bank, and as a scientist at QinetiQ working on infra-red tracking systems and applications of military radar technology to airport runway debris surveillance .
Caroline Twitchell – Director of Business Development
Caroline Twitchell is responsible for financial analysis and business development for Onsemble. Caroline recently completed her MBA at University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business with a focus in Energy and Operations Management and has experience in project financial management as a senior consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and financial analyst for start-up businesses in San Diego, California and Boulder, Colorado. Caroline received a Bachelor’s of Art in International Studies with a focus in Economics from the University of California in San Diego.
Geoffrey Morgan – Director of System Development
Geoffrey Morgan leads the development of Onsemble's proprietary-owned and operated technical backbone, including database administration, computational infrastructure, and application development. Geoff boasts the honor of being the youngest member of the Onsemble team, by almost a decade. Prior to Onsemble, Geoffrey was a Systems Administrator with Zybek, and a student at University of Colorado.
